The raw material for the processing of herbs comes from the best origins, through suppliers selected under strict standards, who share Las Marías’ constant concern for quality. Once received at the Establecimiento, the herb consignments are subjected to quality controls that include microbiological tests, water control tests, and tracing for the presence of agrochemicals. Later, the plants go through a process of taste testing, where their color, aroma and taste are examined. After being separated according to type, the plants go through the areas of milling, classing and blending. Finally, they are packed under strict controls and constant care. The aim: to obtain infusions of great purity and excellent quality.
